Postpartum nourishment isn't just for ourselves either, it’s for the entire family. A well nourished, balanced mother will have a much easier time taking care of her family over an overwhelmed mother who’s depleted, hangry and has anxiety.
In Ayurveda you are not what you eat, you are what you digest. So although you may have a meal train in place, foods like casserole and lasagna are not going to support your digestion or nourish your recovery.
